Granular Activated Carbon

Activated carbon is the generic term used to describe carbonaceous adsorbents processed from wood, coal and shells of coconuts or palms.

Depending on the raw material as well as the carbonising and activation technique used in its production, a wide variety or grades of activated carbon with different characteristics can be produced; and selectively applied in liquid and gaseous phase filtration/adsorption purposes, such as:

• Air pollution control, conditioned-air filtration, gas/vapour purification

We utilize Steam Activation process on palm-shell charcoal in horizontal rotary kiln with heat-recovery feature that enables:

• Uniform activation producing fine pore structures in the finished product

• Low energy cost in the production process
