Clack Filter-Ag Plus® is a clinoptilolite natural media with a large surface area and microporous structure, which can be used as a highly efficient filter media for the reduction of suspended matter.

Clack Filter-Ag Plus is a high-performance filtration media made from natural clinoptilolite ore, offering significant advantages over traditional sand or multimedia filters. Its angular, microporous granules—visible under an electron microscope—provide over 100 times the surface area of silica sand, enabling efficient removal of dirt, silt, and organic matter down to 5 microns or less through straining, bridging, and adhesion. The media's deep bed structure reduces pressure loss, extends filter run times, lowers backwash frequency, and conserves water, making it ideal for high-efficiency systems. Its low density also reduces shipping and handling costs, while high flow rates and sediment loading allow for smaller equipment and lower pumping needs. Suitable for pressure or gravity systems, Filter-Ag Plus can replace traditional multimedia designs and supports gentle air scouring to manage heavy sediment without disrupting the bed structure.
