The project consisted of manually cleaning a 6-million-gallon (27 ML) capacity clear water tank required gas testing, sediment removal, scrubbing of compartments and walls, and chlorination. Effluent from the cleaning process was managed using submersible pumps, mixed with polymer for flocculation in a mixing wall tank, filtered through Geotube systems, and monitored at each discharge stage to meet environmental parameters.
